The multi-hit ABS-RF1 armor core delivers exceptional ballistic protection against NIJ RF1 designated rifle threats and velocity requirements. Testing followed the more stringent shot pattern requirements set forth in the new ASTM E3141-24 and ASTM E3347-25 standards which include 0-degree cluster shots, 30-degree cluster shots, and edge shots. Ballistic testing was independently conducted by Oregon Ballistic Laboratories (OBL), a NIJ-certified and NVLAP accredited facility. Manufactured in the U.S.A. from Honeywell Spectra Shield® with a lightweight area density (PSF) rating, the ABS-RF1 panel weighs just 9.6 ± pounds in its 17x24-inch configuration and features a durable Line-X finish.

ABS-RF2
The multi-hit ABS-RF2 armor core delivers exceptional ballistic protection against NIJ RF2 designated rifle threats and velocity requirements. Testing followed the more stringent shot pattern requirements set forth in the new ASTM E3141-24 and ASTM E3347-25 standards which include 0 degree cluster shots, 30 degree cluster shots, and edge shots. Ballistic testing was independently conducted by Oregon Ballistic Laboratories (OBL), a NIJ-certified and NVLAP accredited facility. The RF2 is also manufactured in the U.S.A. with Honeywell Spectra Shield® and features a lightweight area density (PSF) rating. With a Line-X finish, the panel weighs only 13.8 ± pounds in its 17x24-inch configuration. Unlike many other RF2 rated armor panels, the ABS-RF2 is made entirely from advanced, lightweight polyethylene eliminating the added weight, risk of drop fractures, cracking, fragmentation, and spalling hazards typically associated with ceramic or steel strike-face materials generally required to stop 5.56mm M855/SS109 rounds.
